Yes. The course starts from zero: the first four modules cover color theory, composition and every material you will need before we touch a brush to canvas. Every technique is then broken down step by step.

No studio needed, and you don't need an easel either. A table by a window with good natural light and some ventilation is enough to paint along with every lesson. If you already have an easel, use it, but nothing in the course depends on one. Module 4 covers the full materials list, so you'll know exactly what is essential and what is simply nice to have.

We paint four complete pieces together: a lotus, a red flower, a sunflower and apple blossoms. The color mixing, composition, light and edge work you learn applies to almost anything you want to paint next.

Less space than you might think. An oil painting needs air more than floor space: a shelf, the top of a cupboard, or a spot leaning against a wall out of the way all work well. Keep them somewhere ventilated and out of direct sunlight, and give each layer time before you move the canvas. How quickly a layer sets depends on the paints and mediums you use, which is exactly what Module 4 walks you through.
